Who We Are

CATHERINE RUSSELL is the general manager of the longest running play in NYC history – Perfect Crime.  She has been a general manager, producer, theater builder and actress in NYC since 1980. In 1991 she renovated a strip club at 46th St and Broadway (now the American Eagle store) where Perfect Crime ran for 13 years and in 2005 transformed 20,000 square feet of raw space into the Theater Center at 50th St and Broadway.   The Theater Center is home to the Jerry Orbach Theater where long running shows like The Fantasticks, and now The Office A Musical Parody have played since 2006 and the Anne L Bernstein Theater where Perfect Crime just celebrated its 35th anniversary.  She is a strong believer in creating your own opportunities and learning about every aspect of producing in order to keep shows running and profitable.

BRADLEY BEMBOOM currently serves as the casting director and associate general manager for all main stage productions at The Theater Center.   Performance has been the love of his life since he acted in his first professional show at the tender age of 11.  His first casting session started around the same time by wrangling up the neighborhood kids to do Ice Capades on his back yard ice skating rink!  His casting was only outdone by brilliantly enlisting his sister to be his assistant and coaxing her to be cut in half during the many magic shows performed on their lower level stage (basement!)

Fast forward a few years to a diverse career covering a wide variety of venues, styles, management, and involvement.  From dancing at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida right out of college;  to touring as a stand up comic with The Tennessee Tramp- Janet Williams.  He has been very fortunate to perform, manage, and direct a great mix of plays, musicals, & original productions regionally and throughout the US.  His eye for casting and finding talent has been honed by constantly being a part of, seeing, doing, and experiencing any live performance he can.   As an entrepreneur he also runs his own successful design firm, Bradley David Design LLC and Bradley David Bakes- creating designer cookies which also landed him a spot on the Food Network's Christmas Cookie Challenge in 2018.  He finds great joy being able to create art and make memorable impressions on anyone who is willing to stop, watch, listen, & feel.
